S.A.L.T.Y. – A Biblical Acronym

Called to be SALTY for Jesus.

S – Shine the Light of Christ

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
As salt, we are also called to shine! Our lives should reflect the love and truth of Jesus, drawing others closer to Him.

A – Advance God’s Kingdom

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…” – Matthew 6:33
We are not here for worldly gain. Our mission is to push the Kingdom forward—through our words, our actions, and our daily decisions.

L – Love Without Limits

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:35
Love is the flavor that sets us apart. As salt adds taste, our love must add meaning, healing, and warmth to this broken world.

T – Tell the Truth in Love

“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ.” – Ephesians 4:15
We’re not called to water down the gospel. We must boldly share the truth of God’s Word, but always seasoned with grace.

Y – Yield to the Holy Spirit

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” – Galatians 5:25
We can’t flavor the world in our own strength. We need the guidance, power, and presence of the Holy Spirit to truly live a salty life.

BE SALTY.

Not in attitude—but in anointing.
Not in sarcasm—but in spirit and sincerity.
Not to blend in—but to stand out for Jesus.
