Psalm 106 is a powerful chapter that walks us through the history of Israel's relationship with God—a story filled with divine miracles, repeated disobedience, and above all, the unchanging mercy of God. It's a mirror of the human heart: quick to forget, prone to wander, yet never beyond God's reach.

The psalm recounts how God delivered Israel from Egypt, parted the Red Sea, and provided for them in the wilderness. Still, they rebelled, complained, and turned to idols. But despite their failures, God remained faithful. He listened to their cries and showed compassion time and again.

Psalm 106 reminds us: God’s mercy is greater than our mistakes.

In our own lives, we may fall, forget, or fail—but like Israel, we can always return to God who is rich in love and mercy.
