Life has seasons of loss. There are years that feel wasted—lost to mistakes, pain, broken dreams, or even spiritual dryness. But in Joel 2:25, God gives a powerful promise: He will restore what was lost.
In the context of Joel, Israel had experienced literal destruction from locusts—devastating their harvest and livelihood. Yet God, full of mercy, tells His people that nothing is beyond His power to restore.
This verse speaks not just to physical restoration, but emotional, spiritual, and even generational healing. The “years” that the enemy tried to destroy can be turned into testimonies of God’s faithfulness.
