HOW TO CHALLENGE CONGREGATION TO BE GENEROUS
USING CHRIS FORMAT OR STYLE
C – Context
Church, we are in a season where God is calling us to rise higher in faith. The mission is big, the vision is great, but the fuel of that vision is our faith-filled giving. From the days of Abraham to the New Testament church, giving has always been God’s channel of provision.
H – Highlight
The Bible says in Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.” This is not just a promise—it’s a principle. When the church gives, the kingdom advances. And when you give, blessings overflow back into your life.
R – Relevance
Look around—every soul saved, every child reached, every ministry sustained, every mission accomplished—it happens because someone gave. Your giving today is not just money—it is a seed of transformation. The bigger we give, the stronger our church fund grows, the greater impact we make, and the more lives are touched for Christ.
I – Illustration
Think of a farmer. He doesn’t cry over the seeds he releases into the ground. Why? Because he knows that what leaves his hand doesn’t leave his life—it comes back multiplied. The same is true with our giving to God. Every peso you release is a seed that God multiplies both in the church and in your own household.
S – Stand/Challenge
So today, I challenge you: Don’t give sparingly—give generously. Don’t hold back—invest in eternity. As we give, the church fund will rise, the kingdom work will advance, and you will see blessings overflow in your family, your finances, and your future. Church, let us rise up and give with faith, because the God who sees in secret will reward openly!
