GOD IS NOT SILENT IN THE TIME OF OUR STRUGGLES
by Chris N. Braza, Soul Care Ministry Philippines
God is not silent.
God has never been silent.
And God will never be silent in your struggles.
1. God speaks through moments we usually overlook.
-
Yung text ng kaibigan na “Kumusta ka?”
-
Those are whispers.
Hindi silence—but subtle grace.
God's silence is often just our distraction.
2. God speaks through the struggle itself.
-
Your frustration is exposing what needs healing.
-
Your delay is protecting you from something.
-
Your heartbreak is redirecting your purpose.
-
Your loss is preparing room for something deeper.
Struggles are not punishment—
they are invitations.
Invitations to trust.
To surrender.
To grow.
To let go of what you couldn't let go before.
And sometimes God doesn't remove the struggle
because the struggle is removing what’s destroying us.
3. God speaks through His Word—even when we don’t “feel” anything.
God is planting.
God is watering.
God is strengthening fibers of your soul that you don’t even realize you’re going to need later.
Hindi mo agad mararamdaman…
pero mararamdaman mo eventually.
God’s Word rarely shouts.
But it always works.
4. God speaks through waiting.
-
Are we trusting Him or the outcome?
-
Is our faith in Him or in the timing we want?
-
Are we surrendering or controlling?
Sometimes the silence is not absence.
It is alignment.
God is aligning you with the breakthrough He already prepared.
5. God speaks through people—lalo na yung hindi mo ineexpect.
Sometimes it’s a pastor, sometimes a long-lost friend,
sometimes a stranger online,
But the message hits your spirit like a warm light:
“Anak, I see you.”
“Hindi Kita iniwan.”
“Nandito Ako.”
God uses imperfect people
to deliver perfect reminders.
6. God spoke the loudest on the cross.
The cross is God’s eternal message of love,
spoken once but echoing forever.
You may be hurting now,
pero hindi ka nag-iisa.
You may be confused now,
pero hindi ka pinabayaan.
You may be in the dark now,
pero hindi ka inabandona.
The cross is God shouting:
“I love you.
I fought for you.
I am with you.
And I will never leave you.”
Never.
FINAL WORD
So if you’re in a season where everything feels heavy, blurry, impossible…
Pinapakinggan ka Niya.
Hindi Siya tahimik.
Hindi Siya malayo.
Hindi Siya deadma.
He is closer than your breath,
nearer than your fear,
and more committed to your future
than you are to your failures.
Sometimes God’s silence is not a sign of absence—
it is a sign that He is doing something deep,
something hidden,
and something beautiful…
that can only be seen when the season finally shifts.
Hold on.
Grace is working behind the scenes.
