CLOTHED IN GLORY: A LIFE LIFTED BY GOD
Psalm 21:5
“Through the victories You gave, his glory is great; You have bestowed on him splendor and majesty.”
— Psalm 21:5 (NIV)
ENGLISH VERSION
Psalm 21:5 reveals a profound truth about the source of true glory. Glory is not something we manufacture through personal success, titles, or applause. It is something bestowed—freely given by God to those who trust Him.
The psalm speaks of a king whose victories came not from his own strength, but from divine intervention. Because God gave the victory, God also gave the glory. This reminds us that when our lives are aligned with God’s will, even our battles become platforms for His splendor.
There is a kind of glory that fades—human recognition, temporary achievements, worldly praise. But Psalm 21:5 speaks of a lasting glory, wrapped in splendor and majesty, because it comes from the Eternal One.
Sometimes we think suffering strips us of dignity. But in God’s kingdom, suffering often prepares us for glory. The scars become testimonies. The trials become triumphs. The low places become stages where God displays His faithfulness.
This verse assures us:
When God lifts you, He lifts you completely—not just in position, but in purpose, character, and calling.
You may not feel glorious today. You may feel tired, unseen, or worn down. But if your victory comes from the Lord, then your life carries a glory that cannot be stolen—a quiet majesty shaped by grace, endurance, and faith.
Let this be your declaration:
My victories come from God. Therefore, my life reflects His glory.

BINIHISAN NG KALUWALHATIAN: BUHAY NA ITINAAS NG DIYOS
Awit 21:5
